About Jon

Jon Gray has been a professional photographer for over 25 years, working mostly in the highly competitive world of fashion, beauty and glamour markets.

He has wealth and experience in teaching international students and professional photographers, both in the UK and in the USA.

This day will give you the opportunity to gain from his wide range of experience and knowledge in the industry.

Classic Glamour & Boudoir Lighting

Starting a 10am, Jon will be showing you some of his glamour & boudoir images, followed by a brief Q&A session.

Jon will then be demonstrating the use of different lighting techniques to create classic glamour & boudoir images.

This event is a hands on workshop and you will get the opportunity to work on a one to one with our top model so bring lots of memory!

Jon will be on hand to assist you and give you guidance to create great images.

This workshop will also cover the importance of styling your model, and use of props.

Content and Lighting effects:

• Rim lighting, pencil lighting, silhouette lighting, projection and effects on the body
• Use of lighting effect Filters
• Model posing techniques
• How to compose to the Male and Female form
• The use of different lenses and effects created by them

After each lighting demonstration you will be given the opportunity to shoot on a one to one with our top models!

Workshop requirements:

• Digital Camera (not a point and shoot)
• Suitable lenses: 24 to 105mm or 70mm to 200mm
• Prime lenses: 50mm, 100mm 150mm
