General conditions for courses and workshops at Calumet

1.1 Registration takes place by registration on a form which can be found on the website (www.calumetseminars.co.uk).

1.2 After registration you will receive an (electronic) receipt by e-mail that your registration is final. Registration will take place in order of receipt of the notifications.

1.3 When registering for the software courses the student is expected that he / she is aware of their current level competence for that course (Appendix 1). If during the course that the student is found to be not competent enough there will be no refund of the cost of the course.

1.4 By registering you agree to the terms and conditions.

2. Cancellation by the participant

2.1 Cancellation must be done via email. Cancellation up to 7 days before the start of the course will incur a £25 administration fee. However, transfer to a similar course at another date, the administration will be waived.

For cancellations within 7 days of the start of the course, 50% of course fees and the cancellation fees will be charged.  We do not offer refunds if you do not appear on the day of the seminar. The cancellation period is based from the date of the cancellation request e-mail from the participant.

If your place is taken by a substitute, then no cancellation fees will be charged.

2.2 For cancellations due to illness or special circumstances, fees can be refunded or transferred to another course free of charge and at the discretion of the appropriate store manager.

3. Cancellation / postponement by Calumet

3.1  Calumet Photo is entitled to cancel a seminar if there are insufficient participants. If a course cannot proceed or has to be delayed, we will contact participants no later than 5 days prior to the event in question.

3.2 Calumet is entitled to change a course date up to 2 weeks before an event. The student will be informed either by e-mail or phone and has the choice to decide if the new course date is suitable or cancel.  No cancellation fees will be charged if the participant cannot transfer to the new date.

3.3 Calumet is entitled to change/replace the seminar leader due to sickness of the leader or other unforeseen circumstances. Calumet will either replace them with another teacher or the course maybe cancelled or the date changed. In the case of cancellation by Calumet any course fees paid will be refunded.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 The full amount must be paid before the first day of the course.  You may pay by:

5. Other

5.1 All course materials and supporting documentation are copyrighted and may not be copied, reproduced or otherwise reproduced or published. Shooting in image/video and/or sound of a (part of) a course or training is not allowed. It is prohibited during the course or parts to use software for multiplication and/or make this material available to third parties.

5.2 Parking fees, if any, shall be borne by the participant.
